Da es in der Pension kein Frühstück gibt fahren wir wieder früh um 7:00 Uhr los. Bei kühlen Temperaturen und manchmal auch noch im Morgennebel fahren wir die sogenannte Moldauklosterrunde im nordöstlichen Rumänien.
Danach halten wir uns westlich durch die Berge an der nördlichen Grenze zur Ukraine. Nachdem wir auf die Straße Nr. 18 abgebogen sind müssen wir feststellen, dass der Straßenzustand im Gegensatz zu den vorher gefahrenen Straßen total schlecht ist. Ich überlegte wirklich schon umzudrehen und eine alternative Straße zu suchen. Aber erst mal ein paar Kilometer fahren und sehen ob sich die Straße nicht doch noch bessert, haben wir ja bei der Tour schon öfter erlebt. Nach ein paar Kilometern dann Schotter und Dreck - Baustelle, die Straße wird gerade saniert.
Was nun ? Weiterfahren, so lange wird die Baustelle schon nicht sein - doch, aber nach ca. 10 km dann der erlösende neue Asphalt der uns für den Rest des Tages erhalten bleibt.
Am Abend finden wir ein gemütliches Hotel, ganz aus Holzvollstämmen gebaut. Im Saal war dann auch noch eine Hochzeitsfeier mit traditioneller live Music.

Because there is no breakfast in the pension, we start again early at 7:00 in the morning. In cool temperatures and sometimes even in the morning mist, we ride the so-called Moldova monastery round in northeastern Romania.
Then we head west through the mountains on the northern border with Ukraine. After turning onto the number 18 road we have to realize that the road condition is totally bad compared to the previously ridden roads. I really think about turning around and looking for an alternative road. But first riding a few miles and see if the road is not still improving, we have experienced so many times on the tour. After a few kilometers then gravel and dirt - construction site, the road is being renovated.
What now ? Continue, so long the construction site will not be - it was, but after about 6 miles then the redeeming new asphalt, who stays with us for the rest of the day.
In the evening we find a cozy hotel, built entirely of wood full logs. In the hall was then a wedding celebration with traditional live music.
